Nicole Kuzler has been coming to the New York Build Expo since 2019 as an engineering student at Stevens Institute of Technology. After listening to the Women in Construction panel in 2019, she has been inspired to become an advocate herself. After graduating from Stevens with both bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering in spring 2021, Nicole started her career in fall 2021 with Turner Construction Company. Since being hired, she has swiftly moved up within the company to being a lead engineer on the new 1.3 million square feet Google Headquarters project. She is responsible for managing trades through the engineering process and building 5 floors of workspaces at 100,000 square feet per floor. Additionally, Nicole is a member of the Advancing Professionals and Make Your Mark groups within the Turner community. She strives to play a major role in advocating for women in construction. It is her dream to one day sit on the women in construction panel at the New York Build Expo and share her field experiences. Her goal is to pave the way for future females in this industry and make an impact on the New York market one building at a time.
