Whitney Anderson, Senior Director of Real Estate at WeWork, has 15 years of commercial real estate experience. Before WeWork, she spent four years at Cushman & Wakefield, leading New York portfolio strategies for clients like WeWork and MetLife, and spearheading leasing for Brookfield's 7M sq ft Manhattan West Development. Joining WeWork in 2018, her responsibilities expanded to include portfolio growth and restructuring in key markets across nearly 11M sq ft the US and Canada. She was instrumental in achieving over $12B in rent savings during WeWork's Chapter 11 restructuring. Currently, she drives WeWork's growth, creating new revenue streams like the 575 Lexington Avenue Flexible Work Lounge, and developing real estate strategies for enterprise clients such as securing 600,000+ sq ft of new office space for Amazon. A mentor and leader, Whitney is the US & Canada President of Women of WeWork and a Heidrick & Struggles certified Culture Facilitator. She holds a BS from the University of Arizona and is a NY-licensed real estate salesperson.
