Diversity in Construction Personal Statement -

It has been a mission of mine to create opportunities for diverse groups of businesses. This effort opens the door for many firms to learn, build capacity and grow, and ultimately impact the communities they reside in through workforce opportunities and other activities that furthers economic development. It is important for all of us to understand our role in this mission and play a part in creating access to opportunities across various industries. There are diverse contractors and consultants ready, willing, and able to get involved, and we all can have an impact in moving the needle towards a more inclusive and equitable contract environment- let’s support small and diverse businesses!
