Mr. Sterlin possesses expertise in government relations, leadership and a deep commitment to community economic advancement. Fighting for businesses throughout New York City, Vladimir was instrumental in advocating for the NYC Small Business Resource Network program remaining on the 2023 NYC approved Budget schedule. Mr. Sterlin’s professional journey demonstrates his exceptional skills in policy development, government relations, and strategic planning. His ability to cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, draft compelling testimony, and lead initiatives that support businesses showcases his dedication to promoting growth and economic resilience within the community. Mr. Sterlin previously worked at the Bank of New York, Mellon, Barclays Capital and PricewaterHouseCoopers, LLP within their asset management divisions. Mr. Sterlin is also an angel investor on endeavors that impact the economic development of underserved communities throughout the tri-state area. Mr. Sterlin holds a Bachelors in Finance from St. John’s University, an MBA in Finance from Long Island University and a ‘Senior Executives in State and Local Government: Leading Resilient Communities’ Certificate from Harvard Kennedy School.
