Vlada Kenniff was named Vice President of Energy and Sustainability, Capital Projects Division, at the New York City Housing Authority in March 2020. In this role, she is responsible for leading NYCHA’s comprehensive Sustainability Agenda for the nation’s largest public housing authority toward a decarbonized future, healthier homes, while leveraging ongoing and future capital work of over $1 billion to afford training and hiring opportunities for NYCHA residents. Prior to joining NYCHA, Vlada spent over a decade working at NYC’s Water Utility on a range of water conservation, demand management, green infrastructure and climate resiliency projects. Vlada earned a M.S. in city and regional planning from Pratt Institute and a B.A. in environmental studies from Pace University. She is a Ph.D. candidate in information studies at LIU Post.
