Vanessa received her Master in Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design where she was the finalist of Irving Innovation Fellow and her graduation thesis Petrophilia on the influence of rocks towards new material and construction was featured in Dezeen. She has a bachelor in Mathematics with Cum Laude from Smith College, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and a prior career in data analytics before working as an architect in Boston, From a minority tribe in China, and being raised and surrounded by strong independent women, she believes in the mission of advocating and empowering minority groups and women of all kinds.
