Thierry is an award-winning design architect with rich and diverse management experience in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to joining the SCA in August of 2023, he managed the IBI Group-Arcadis New York State Practice and served as a design studio lead for leading international firms.  Additionally, Thierry also served as a Design Advisor for the government of Qatar and was the Campus Architect for the world leading research institute KAUST. Thierry is a registered architect in multiple US jurisdictions, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland. His high-profile project portfolio consists of university campuses, life science projects, pharmaceutical, corporate headquarters, mixed-use master plan developments, and interiors incorporating sustainability strategies. He is skilled in leading multidisciplinary teams through all project phases, from developing bids, programming, concept design and design management, to contract administration and project closeout. Thierry previously served as a Director-at-Large on the American Institute of Architect’s National Board in Washington DC, President of AIA International, President of AIA Middle East, Chair for the AIA Global Strategic Task Force and was a member on multiple AIA National Committees. Thierry was elevated to the American Institute of Architect’s prestigious College of Fellows in 2014, only 2 1/2 percent of all AIA members belong to the College of Fellows.
