Tara Roscoe
Tara is a principal and director of design, interiors in HOK’s New York studio. Over the past two decades, she has led the design of more than 5.5 million square feet of interior space for a wide variety of project types including corporate, retail, residential, hospitality, building repositioning, aviation and transportation. Tara’s ability to think strategically about interior design, architecture and real estate has produced a portfolio with several award-winning projects for clients such as Sony and the Durst Organization.
Dedicated to the design profession, Tara served on the editorial board of Contract magazine. She is also a member of CoreNet Global’s New York City Chapter and previously served on the board of directors for the IIDA’s New York City Chapter. Tara’s growing interest in data-driven design solutions and the impact of machine learning on the design process has led her to present new design practice models at both CoreNet and Buildtech conferences. She has incorporated these tools into her everyday practice with her clients. Tara has held teaching appointments at the Pratt Institute and the University of Manitoba, and she has participated in student reviews at the New York School of Interior Design, The New School/Parsons School of Design and Ryerson University.
