Steven Lee
Steven T. Lee is a Professional Landscape Architect and urban designer with a passion for crafting inspired and performative public spaces and urban landscapes. As an Associate Principal at SWA/Balsley in New York City, he leads the design of complex public realm projects domestically and abroad, including parks, waterfronts, plazas, and streetscapes. Current and past projects include Courthouse Park in Jersey City, Innovation QNS in Queens, NY, Uptown ATX in Austin, Drexel Square in Philadelphia, and Trillium Park in Toronto. Steven also helps nurture a dynamic and collaborative studio environment, enabling the design team to collectively generate innovative yet grounded design solutions for a variety of clients. Steven holds an undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College and a Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to lectures and speaking engagements across the country, Steven has served as a design critic at UC Berkeley, The Penn State University, Cornell University, and Columbia University, among others.
