Stas Zakrzewski FAIA, CPHD
Stas Zakrzewski is a principal at ZH Architects, a practice that integrates sustainable strategies into modern, design-driven work. ZH is a widely recognized industry leader in low-carbon buildings and has completed several certified Passive House projects, ranging from single-family homes to a 24-story residential high-rise. This diverse portfolio has provided Stas with deep insight into the hurdles and opportunities within the current code and regulatory landscape.
Stas has held leadership roles as a member of the AIA’s COTE Committee and New York Passive House. He has also advised on New York City’s DOB Energy and Building Code Committees. From 2019 to 2023, he served as chair of the Multifamily Working Group for NYC’s Climate Mobilization Act (Local Law 97).
