Mrs. Zuberbuhler-Yafar is a registered Landscape Architect with a Masters in Urban Design and has over 24 years of varied experience in the planning, design and construction management of the public and private built environments.  Sofía has spearheaded the NYCDDC Infrastructure Division’s integration of climate readiness, sustainability, resiliency and equity. She oversees a multimillion dollar Green Infrastructure / Cloudburst Management design portfolio, as well as the Landscape Architecture & Urban Design Team.  Sofía is on the Envision Review Board with the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure and is part of several NYC sustainability task forces.
