Architectural Designer,
AECOM
Embarking on my professional journey as an architectural designer at AECOM while concurrently navigating my academic journey in a Master's ofUrban Design at New York Institute of Technology, I am Sidpasamde Tiendrebeogo. My core philosophy revolves around the profound impact of community. As the NOMAS Student Outreach Committee Chair, I am actively fostering engagement and organizing events that bridge the gap between students and industry professionals. I believe architecture is a powerful tool for uniting people, becoming the compass guiding my path. I derive fulfillment not solely from the intricacies of design but equally from my roles as a mentor for the ACE program, the HBCU Professional Development Program, and initiatives fostering community growth as I navigate my role at AECOM. I welcome opportunities which highlight and promote genuine commitment to community building. For me, this journey transcends the act of designing structures; it's an endeavor to infuse a sense of community and passion into every project, person, and place. My aspiration is to serve as a conduit of a lasting impact, nurturing the future of architecture, construction as well as the lived and experienced environment with the same genuine passion that fuels my own journey.
