Shereece Grant
Project Controls Manager,,
Holt Construction
As the former leader of the Women of Holt employee resource group, Shereece Grant has cultivated a passion for initiatives that empower others, drive change, and foster a sense of belonging both in the workplace and within the community. Shereece's focus has primarily been on supporting young adults and girls. She continues to collaborate with NYC Services, providing mentorship to high school girls and using the power of service to build their confidence, enhance their self-image, and empower them to believe in their own potential. Shereece has repeatedly collaborated with the Rising Stars organization in Brooklyn, NY, a program that partners with companies to offer career support, mentorship, and construction industry exposure to youth ages 16-24. She is also excited to work with Tools & Tiaras Inc. each year during their summer camp program, where they empower girls ages 6-14 to embrace the slogan 'Jobs Don’t Have Genders' through hands-on workshops focused on skilled trades. Her most cherished initiative was organizing a comprehensive tour of the Capital One Lounge jobsite at John F. Kennedy Airport Terminal 4. Holt Construction, in collaboration with JFK IAT, hosted Tools & Tiaras on the final day of their camp. The group was given a detailed tour of the terminal, along with discussions on managing retail construction. In addition, they explored the Airport Traffic Control Tower and participated in a hands-on workshop covering plumbing and electrical work.
