Samuel Singer
Sam Singer has over 14 years of experience as a geotechnical engineer at Langan Engineering, providing design and consulting services for private and public projects, including full city block developments to minor additions., Flood resiliency design for the New York City Housing Authority, and school developments and improvements highlight some of his public sector projects. He has managed geotechnical consulting and field work from design through construction, while coordinating among multiple engineering disciplines, for dozens of successfully constructed projects throughout the greater NYC area.
He presently serves as President of the ASCE Metropolitan Section, and is a past-president of the ASCE Metropolitan Section Younger Member Forum. At ASCE, Sam oversees Metropolitan Section planning and programming, including networking, career development, community and student outreach, and government relations. In the summer of 2022, he presented the press release of the ASCE New York State Infrastructure Report Card, and he has participated in legislative outreach with ASCE. He is on the Engineering Assembly of the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitats, and he is a part of the School Construction Authority Committee of the American Council of Engineering Companies.
