Ryan Donaghy is a registered architect serving as Director of Enclosure Design at SHoP Architects in New York. He has led the design and execution of custom high performance building enclosures for many high profile, large scale projects including high-rise residential and commercial buildings in New York, Detroit, and Sydney, and the global corporate headquarters for Uber in San Francisco. He holds a Bachelor of Structural Engineering with high honors from Michigan State University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan where he graduated with distinction and thesis honors. An educational background in both structural engineering and architecture lends him a unique perspective for collaboration and the generation of integrated design solutions.​ He is currently an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University’s GSAPP.
