Rushita is an Embodied Carbon Specialist in the Buildings + Places group in the New York Metro at AECOM. As part of the High Performance Buildings team, she focuses on developing strategies and pathways to achieve net-zero carbon targets and goals for multinational clients; material and market research for low embodied carbon solutions and materials; and embodied carbon and lifecycle assessment modelling for green building certifications. Rushita has also developed embodied carbon modeling training that has been implemented companywide. She is an active member of the Carbon Leadership Forum and the US Green Buildings Council. Rushita holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Navrachana University in India and a Master of Building Science from the University of Southern California where she also earned Certificate in Sustainable Design.
