Rujutha Parameswaran, CMIT, Design Strategist, AECOM Metro New York Rujutha is a Design Strategist in the People + Places Advisory at AECOM Metro New York. Trained as an architect, she started her career working on urban design and planning initiatives in Mumbai, India before relocating to New York to pursue her graduate degree. While at Columbia University, Rujutha interned at AECOM, and upon graduation, joined the firm as a Deputy Project Manager in the Program and Project Management group. In her current role, she works with both private-sector and government clients, utilizing design thinking, user experience strategy, change management, operations strategy, and project management to optimize and enhance their real estate portfolios. Rujutha is an active member of Professional Women in Construction (PWC), serving on its Professional Development Advisory Council. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Mumbai and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Project Management and Business Strategy from Columbia.
