Robert Raynes
Robert is a Director in within Turner & Townsend’s Program Advisory business unit, an independent professional services company that specializes in Program Management, Project Management & Cost Management services. Robert is one of Turner & Townsend’s internal SME’s for program set up for complex programs and projects including advise on governance, reporting, alternative procurement and contract strategies and collaborative delivery methods.
Robert has 20 years of experience in providing consultancy and program and commercial management roles in capital delivery and asset management for infrastructure, property, and natural resources client. This has included developing and establishing end-to-end capital delivery processes, contract and cost management strategies, and new supply chain solutions for the delivery of both capital and maintenance operational requirements.
Robert is currently providing technical advice and capital program oversight support to the Federal Monitor as part of the New York City Housing Authority monitorship, leading the Program Office for GSK’s Greater Boston Strategic Program and providing strategic procurement and contract advise to a number of large scale manufacturing projects in the US.
Robert holds a MSc in Construction Law, and undergraduate in cost management and has guest lectured at Columbia University as part of their Construction Management masters. Robert is also part of the DBIA Metropolitan Tri-State committee and supports one of the working groups.
Robert is also a volunteer EMT, Field Training Officer and Board Director for Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corp in New York state.
