Robert Piatkowski, AICP, is a lead urban designer at WSP’s New York City office.   Robert has worked with communities across the country on a diverse range of projects including street design, downtown master plans, neighborhood plans, corridor studies, zoning & form-based codes, comprehensive plans, and traditional neighborhood and town developments.  With the belief that good design is essential for livable and sustainable communities, he emphasizes placemaking and people-oriented development through community-centered processes across all of his projects.  Building upon his background in civil engineering and transportation planning, Robert is especially interested in transit-oriented development, integrating transportation and land use planning to support mixed-use, walkable, and connected communities.
