Started my career with the Department of Transportation in 1996, when I chose the option to work as a Civil Engineer for the Federal Highway Administration’s Office of Motor Carrier Section in the Maryland Division. I finally left Federal Highway Administration in 2000 to serve as a Civil Engineer for Federal Aviation Administration, ANI Implementation Center in the Eastern Region (or Eastern Service Area as it is presently called). I worked as a Resident Engineer, Project Engineer and a Construction Manager for all various types of aviation related projects. Since 2005, I became the Regional Engineer for the Federal Transit Administration, Region 2. At FTA, I have served as a project manager for New Jersey Transit Corporation’s Capital Improvement Program, I have shepherd several projects into FTA's Mega Grant Cooperative agreements, and I have worked with the Build America Bureau to provide credit to New York projects... I live in New York with my wife and kids, and we have West Indian roots. .
