Omar is an accomplished program and product manager with a strong background in business intelligence, financial modeling, project management and process improvement in the capital-intensive industries. Over the past five years, Omar has focused on leveraging technology to streamline and scale construction and urban development operations. At Katerra, he led business intelligence efforts to scalable and standardize the multifamily operating model and product offerings. As Center of Excellence lead at Rivian, he oversaw efforts to scale the infrastructure footprint of the EV OEM insurgent. With a strong background in construction management, facilities technology and controls, and EV infrastructure deployment, Omar has become a valuable asset in the construction tech and infrastructure development industries. Omar holds Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham and Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Duke. Originally, from Almaty, Kazakhstan he brings a wealth of experience in construction and project management working with companies such as Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, Werner Sobek, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and many more. Omar is currently advising startups in ConTech, PropTech, Cleantech industries.
