Nathaniel began his construction career as a union apprentice/journeyman carpenter. Since then, he has worked in health and safety for over 23 years. He is currently an authorized OSHA 500 Constuction Trainer, and a health and safety consultant. He has served in various positions using his entrepreneurial and motivational skills: OSHA instructor at NYCC; consultant and instructor for Justice Community Program at LaGuardia Community College teaching entry-level construction basics; high school/adult education teacher for LAUSD/Pasadena, CA ROP; instructor California State Licensed Contractors; medical facilities construction contractor of interior systems; founder/director of A.S.I.S.T. Advanced Seminar of Interior Systems Techniques created to attract, screen and motivate participants to look at the trades as a successful career with higher-than-average earnings, furnishing a pool of employee candidates to contractors; contractor and a past recipient of a Minority Contractor of the Year Award, U.S. Department of Commerce Business Success Award, Certificate of Congressional Recognition. “Give me bread and I will eat for a day.
