Michelle Roelofs is an Associate Principal and Structural Engineer in Arup’s New York office with 14 years of experience. She has design and manages a wide variety of projects including cultural, commercial, residential, and educational buildings. Michelle takes a client-focused approach to all her work, actively listening to the client’s needs and ensuring they are addressed through all stages of the project. Michelle’s has developed an expertise in projects that have complex geometry or utilize novel materials. She offers creative solutions to design challenges that add value to projects. She has also developed an expertise in mass timber construction and is an advocate for mass timber construction.
