Matthew Charney is the Vice President for Design & Construction the New York City Housing Authority (“NYCHA”). In his role as Vice President for Design & Construction, Matthew is a leader in the planning and oversight of NYCHA’s Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (“PACT”) program. Prior to joining NYCHA, Matthew has held various positions working on affordable housing in NYC since 2005. Matthew holds a BA in Architecture from Miami University and a MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and is a proud resident of Red Hook Brooklyn.
