Margarette Lee
Margarette Lee is a Principal and CEO of Young Woo & Associates LLC. She leads the organization’s legal, construction and development activities with an emphasis on leading new initiatives and settings the firm’s strategic direction. Over her nearly four-decade real estate career, Margarette has created and defined projects across a range of various assets—from retail and entertainment to luxury residential and hotel as well as transformational office spaces. Her most renowned projects include the Sky Garage, Google-P57, Dekalb Market, Radio Hotel and Office Tower and Chozos, a luxury hotel/glamping in Argentina. She has proven her ability to manage complex projects and to deliver them on time and on budget. Her comprehensive development and operational skills have been essential to the company’s success.
Ms. Lee is a licensed attorney in the states of New York and in New Jersey. She is currently a trustee of NYU Schack Institute; board member at the Holy Name Hospital; and, she is a governor of Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). She also served as a member of the Board of Trustees at the Queens Museum of Art for many years and currently serves as a founding board member of the Canal Project, a non-profit contemporary art institution dedicated to underrepresented and emerging artists. Ms. Lee was an honoree of the KAFSC (Korean American Family Service Center) for her philanthropic work and is a recipient of a Proclamation from the City Council of New York and an Honoree of the Queens Museum of Art.
