Layth Madi is SVP – Director of Development Management and Operations (New York & Tri-State Area) at Lendlease. Layth is currently leading three flagship projects; Claremont Hall, a 165 unit / 354K sf condo tower in Morningside Heights, 277 5th Avenue, a 130 unit / 260K sf condo tower in NOMAD and One Java Street, an 834 unit / 789K sf development in Greenpoint. One Java is the largest multifamily geothermal project in New York State and delivers on Lendlease’s road to Absolute Zero Carbon by 2040. Layth previously served as SVP – Director of Masterplanning and Place at Google Development Ventures. He oversaw design and pre-construction at Downtown West, an 80-acre mixed-use urban district in San Jose. Layth led place-making and focused on weaving retail, public realm and social infrastructure into a an authentic ground plane experience. Layth holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, a Master of Architecture and a Master of Real Estate from Harvard University.
