Laura Bianchini entered the construction industry in the late 80s when less than 2% of women were in the workforce. Laura is the Vice President of Almasi Companies managing multimillion-dollar construction projects for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, energy, institutional, and commercial industries servicing New Jersey. Laura was instrumental in the firm’s growth and success. She transformed Almasi from a material, trucking, and excavation company to a Full-Service Site Work Contractor, including Underpinning, Target Value Deliveries, and Utilities for Fortune 500 companies. Laura serves as a conduit for future engineers and gives her time to mentor their success. In 2022, Laura Bianchini became the board chair of HMH, Raritan Bay Medical Center. Laura is also the Board Treasurer for the LTAC Hospital in Perth Amboy. She is an active member of the NJPWC. Laura established the chapter scholarship program and helped gain the organization’s professional recognition. She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women, National Association of Female Executives, National Safety Council, Engineer’s Society and various other organizations.
