Kristen Van Gilst is a Construction Technology Consultant at STV. In this role, she uses her expertise to create and deliver strategic approaches for clients through a keen understanding of their business drivers, risks, and opportunities, resulting in significant improvements to their business practices. Kristen finds innovative ways to turn client information into valuable insights and services, impacting the stakeholder engagement process in transformative ways. Her history of adaptiveness amid the ever-changing world of construction and technology demonstrates her value as a strategic advisor on both a tactical implementation and delivery basis.

Before joining STV, her work at a globally established AEC firm involved project and program management, primarily on large-scale Design-Build programs. Kristen’s experience includes managing design and engineering coordination and stakeholder engagement on a multibillion-dollar capital program, in addition to rapid response and disaster recovery-related construction.

She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MBA with a concentration in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University, and from Purdue University, an Executive Construction Management Graduate Certificate and is a Master of Science in Construction Management Technology – Spring ’22 candidate.
