Kimberly Coca, AIA, joined Heitler Houstoun Architects in 2012, becoming Principal in 2021. Licensed in New York, New Jersey, Indiana, and Ohio, she excels in leading diverse projects from concept to construction, with a focus on residential, commercial, and retail spaces. Kimberly's design philosophy is human-centric and detail-oriented. Notably, she developed award-winning wellness concepts for clients like Clean Market and holds a design patent for a custom fixture which enhances the client experience. Her portfolio includes the award-winning flagship design for Vuori in NYC, as well detailing and scaling architectural brand standards for clients such as Madison Reed, Mate Fertility, and Modern Age into national roll-out. Kimberly oversees both interiors and new construction on various private residential projects. Her work in New Development encompasses notable projects such as Pitkin-Berriman (60-units) and Cypress Hills Senior Housing (53 units), both in collaboration with the Cypress Hills Local Development Corp. Before joining HHA, she contributed to commercial and institutional projects at Curtis + Ginsberg Architects, including the National Dance Institute in Harlem, Early Childhood Center for the NJSDA, and R3, a 100-unit affordable housing building.
