Kathryn Martinez is a Senior Director at MACRO, A Savills Company, with over 20 years’ experience in Construction Project Management and Engineering Consulting. A licensed Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional, Kathryn has successfully completed large capital projects with highly complex engineering scopes across a range of market sectors, including commercial, broadcast, healthcare, higher ed, and life sciences. As a seasoned project executive, Kathryn is adept at navigating large and complex project organizations, knowing when to focus on the big picture and when to dive into the details. She prides herself on taking the time to understand her clients’ culture and currency in order to tailor the project approach.
Prior to joining the firm, Kathryn was Director of Engineering for DEDC, LLC, where she was responsible for delivery of MEP projects from Basis of Design through Construction Administration. Notable projects include 2222 Market Street Core and Shell for Parkway Corporation, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Behavioral Health at Cedar Health Campus, and the repositioning of the former Mercy Hospital in West Philadelphia for Public Healthcare Management Corporation. Prior to her position at DEDC, Martinez served as Studio Director at Brinjac Engineering, where she managed MEP, Fire Protection and Telecom Engineers in Philadelphia and New York. Kathryn is also a member of the Association of Medical Facilities Professionals and Life Science
