John E. Robbins is Country Managing Director at global program, project and cost management consulting firm, Turner & Townsend. John is country leader for Turner & Townsend’s USA business. John joined Turner & Townsend in 2011 as a partner after merging the New York City-based project management and owner’s representation firm, Ferzan, Robbins & Associates LLC, which he co-founded and led as CEO for nearly 20 years. Over the past 12 years, John continues to lead the USA business through a period of rapid expansion, having doubled the size of the business every three years in headcount and revenue since 2011, expanded market presence across 20 national offices, and headed toward becoming a $500M business by 2025. With 40 years of experience, John’s global capital project management experience totals greater than 40M square feet of buildings and facilities, over $150B in capital spend, and many different asset types across multiple real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors. John has broad knowledge of varied markets and best business practices in delivery clients’ capital projects and programs. John serves on multiple strategic and operating boards internally at Turner & Townsend, as well as externally with multiple industry, education (an associate adjunct professor at Columbia University’s Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics), and philanthropic organizations. John has built his career helping clients transform the performance of their built assets to create a greener, more inclusive, and productive world.
