After receiving his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science & Art in 2017 and Master of Science degree in Construction Management at the University of Southern California in 2018, JJ Tesoriero has spent his career at Gilbane Building Company as a Project Manager on a variety of ground-up construction projects. In addition to his project specific roles, JJ has led Gilbane's LGBTQ+ Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG) in NY since 2019 while also acting as a Committee Chair for Build Out Alliance - a nonprofit organization that promotes and advocates for inclusion of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) community within the building design and construction industries. Also LEED AP BD+C certified, JJ is a strong advocate for sustainable practices in construction, and plays an active role in Gilbane's sustainability group. JJ currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with his husband and two cats.
