Joel Velazquez, P.E.
Joel Velázquez brings more than 25 years of experience in the structural and blast investigation of buildings and enclosures, including new and retrofit design, as well as vulnerability and feasibility studies. He has experience on major modernization of historic and non-historic buildings, both public and private, ranging from office to commercial facilities, and from religious to sport facilities.
Joel has been involved in blast analysis and design projects for more than two dozen U.S. embassies in almost all continents and has managed projects of all sizes. He has also managed large hostile vehicle mitigation projects in the NYC Metropolitan Area in both public and semi-private sector from master plan to Construction Documents and has experience with forced entry and ballistics consulting.
