He has 14 years of experience working in the UK, China and US, designing and commissioning electrical, building controls and smart building systems. James has broad experience in the building performance field. He has a strong focus on research, with a particular interest in health and wellbeing, indoor air quality and practical IoT sensor technology specification and deployment, which he spearheads within Arup. James is passionate about driving sustainability and energy efficiency in buildings through data enablement and helping clients make the most of their existing assets and capabilities.
