Jake Toth
Jake Toth is a construction safety and education professional with 20+ years of career advancement and experience, currently working as The City College of New York's inaugural (2023-24) Buildings Expert-in-Residence. As a lifelong educator he inspires young adults to consider their future as construction experts.
As a director he created Andromeda Academy of Construction Trades to be an authorized course provider for NYC Department of Buildings (DOB), Association for Materials Protection & Performance (AMPP formerly SSPC), and American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Through his experience Jake became an expert in the industry, focusing on client expectations, safety compliance, and adding value to the construction industry.
His visionary perspective has earned him opportunities to collaborate with clients like MTA, The City College of New York, and City Tech – New York City College of Technology and helped him win the IACET Innovation of the Year Award for Learner Engagement in 2020.
His notable qualifications include CHST, NYC DOB Construction Superintendent, FDNY Construction Fire Safety Manager, and OSHA authorized trainer licenses.
Jake also holds NCCER Craft Instructor, Curriculum Proctor, and Curriculum Performance Evaluator qualifications.
