Ian Klein

Ian Michael Klein is Head of Development at Rabina. He is responsible for leading all of the firm’s development activities and directs all aspects of project execution, including conceptualization and positioning, design, construction, marketing, leasing, and sales across Rabina’s portfolio. Prior to joining Rabina in 2020, Ian worked for some of New York’s top developers, including Macklowe Properties and Corigin, where, among other projects, he led the development of The Towers by Foster + Partners in Miami, 540 W 21st Street by Renzo Piano Building Workshop in New York City, and 737 Park Avenue and 150 East 72nd Street in New York City, both by Handel Architects. Ian has also worked in the public sector structuring complex, large-scale public-private real estate transactions for the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Ian holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design with Distinction from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. Since 2018, he has been a professor in the Practice of Real Estate, Urbanism, and the Built Environment at the University of Virginia School of Architecture.
