Heidy is a Design Technology Specialist in Digital Solutions, part of the Buildings + Places group in the East Region at AECOM. In this capacity, she merges technical knowledge, research skills, and design technologies to develop innovative design solutions. With expertise in BIM services and technology applications, Heidy has worked on a range of mid- and large-scale projects, including the redevelopment of American Airlines’ Terminal 8 at John F. Kennedy International Airport and the development of Ontario Line South rapid transit in Canada. Heidy holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Science in Architecture from Pratt Institute with a focus on research, digital fabrication, and design.
