Hamid Adib
Hamid is a seasoned executive with experience, perspective and a focus on the design, construction and delivery of large, complex projects in urban settings using traditional design-bid-build or alternate delivery methods. His alternate delivery project experience encompasses a range of projects from office and courthouse buildings dating back to the 1980s. His deep understanding of the intricacies of working with public agencies and private clients has proven to be an asset especially with the recent trend of Public Private Partnerships in delivery of large projects. While his leadership in delivery of global large projects has been wide ranging and global, in New York, he has led the delivery of significant large projects such as the Oculus and related complex at the World Trade Center and structural hardening of George Washington Bridge and the 42nd street Bus Terminal.
Dr. Adib holds advance degrees in Applied Science/Mechanics from University of Connecticut and in Business Analytics from Harvard University. He is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states and a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of Structural Engineering Institute. He has co-authored several articles and book chapters, and is currently the team leader for the Technical Committee subgroup on ASCE Guidelines for Lunar Infrastructure Engineering, Design, Analysis and Construction to be published by ACSE, Aerospace Division.
