Francesca Camillo

Project Manager, NYC Department of Transportation
Francesca Camillo is a member of the Facilities Management team at NYC Department of Transportation, where she implements efficiency and sustainability measures in agency properties to help reach the city’s 80 X 50 goals. She previously focused on pre-development and affordable housing finance at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), underwriting construction loans for multifamily buildings in need of rehabilitation. Additional experience in resiliency and sustainability draws from developing repair and recovery policy, drafting the framework for understanding the relationship between multifamily building flood insurance with repair and fortification at HPD; managing the East Village, Lower East Side, and Two Bridges Resilient Neighborhoods Study with the NYC Department of City Planning; and working with NYC Emergency Management to obtain FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funds for infrastructure projects. She holds an M.S. of Urban Planning from Columbia University and a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
