Flavia Beppler
Flavia Beppler is a civil engineer with over 10 years of experience currently working for STV Inc. in large infrastructures projects in the New York Metro Area such as the Second Avenue Subway – Phase 2, the extension of the Q line into East Harlem that, upon completion, will provide ridership for over 100.000 people a day, and the Gateway Program - Hudson Tunnel Project, a U$ 16 billion multi-state project aiming at improving reliability, resiliency, and redundancy for passengers who travel across the Hudson River along the Northeast Corridor. Flavia has also worked with the Department of Infrastructure of the State of Santa Catarina, Brazil, performing management and financial control of over 300 contracts (U$ 1 billion in investments) in roadway programs financed by the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), Bank of Brazil (BB) and Latin America Development Bank (CAF). Flavia has an MBA in Transportation and Infrastructure from IPOG, a Master’s in Transportation Engineering from The City University of New York, and a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from UFSC. She has also served as Secretary of the ASCE Met Section - Infrastructure Group and is an active member of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce.
