Evan Eisland is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of MTA Construction & Development. Evan's Contracts Department is responsible for the legal and procurement functions for the MTA’s capital program and leads the MTA’s effort to improve its construction contracting structures, with an emphasis on Design-Build and other innovative strategies to drive innovation and competition. Before joining the MTA in 2011, Evan practiced commercial and construction law in the private sector for over 20 years. Evan also holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked as an engineer before he began practicing law.
