Dr. Susan M Home, Ph.D.
Business Development & Estimating Coordinator,
Trinity Building & Construction Management
As a Business Development & Estimating Coordinator at Trinity Building and Construction Management Corp., I leverage my diverse background and skills to support multiple project teams in various stages of construction management. I have developed competencies in seeking and evaluating new project opportunities, marketing and outreach, networking, bidding and proposal preparation, subcontractor coordination, construction scheduling, and the basic legalities and financials of project management. I always strive to provide exemplary customer service and build strong relationships with our clients, developers, architects, and engineers. I hold a Ph.D. in philosophy with a focus on values, ethics, and society. My academic background as a Professor includes teaching multiple courses relevant to construction such as environmental ethics, the ethics of urbanization, and the human-land relationship. I also taught many courses in feminist philosophy, philosophy of disability, and philosophy of intersectionality, and served on various Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion task forces at the University level. I believe that only through diversity and inclusion can this industry contribute to the development of sustainable and innovative projects that enhance the quality of life in our communities.
