Dorcia McDuffie, MPA
Dorcia Goodridge-McDuffie, Director of Vendor and Contract Management, is responsible for leading the Contract Administration, Board Liaison, and Payments Administration in NYCHA’s Asset & Capital Management (A&CM) Division. She ensures operational efficiency, fosters innovation, and optimizes vendor relationships. With strategic leadership and regulatory expertise, Dorcia drives change and excellence in contract administration and supports NYCHA's mission of providing safe, affordable housing and community services.
Mrs. McDuffie brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of Budget and Contract Administration at the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), Facilities Management, where she was responsible for creating and overseeing the department’s budget of over $21 million, covering 56 DCAS-owned facilities and managing repair and maintenance contracts totaling more than $60 million. Prior to her role at DCAS, Mrs. McDuffie held leadership positions at the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). Mrs. McDuffie is certified in Emergency Management and in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace, reflecting her commitment to fostering inclusive work environments and ensuring equitable service delivery.
Mrs. McDuffie holds a master’s degree in Public Affairs and Administration from the Metropolitan College of New York, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Criminal Law from City College of New York, and an Associate in Applied Science in Legal Studies from New York City Technical College. Mrs. McDuffie takes pride in her Caribbean heritage, with both of her parents hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies. She is a dedicated wife and mother of two young adults, with her son serving as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and her daughter pursuing a biology major at Long Island University (LIU Post).
