Deborah Romano is the Executive Managing Director of JLL’s Project and Development Services team in the Northeast and Canada Region. In her role, Deborah is responsible for leading teams and client relationships across the New York Tri-State, New England and Canada regions of JLL.  She optimizes the performance of her team through regular and transparent dialogue, active employee engagement, and clear expectation setting. Communication and collaboration are pillars of her leadership style; she has a proven track record for building high performing teams.

Deborah’s success as a project manager and over twenty years of experience bolsters her ability to successfully coach her teams through the design and construction process on behalf of her clients across the globe. Her expertise includes project feasibility and strategy, project team assembly and design, lease transaction support and construction management. Deborah is a strong communicator and excels at building long lasting relationships. She believes success as a project manager is the result of resilience, strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to lead, and most importantly, a commitment to serve our clients.
