After spending 20+ years in the Federal government procurement arena supporting programs for Supplier Diversity, I made the transition to the private sector, specifically in the Construction and Facilities Management fields. It is here that I have been able to help diverse suppliers and subcontractors partner with construction companies on small and large projects. By educating construction firms on the importance of a strong Supplier Diversity program, and to treat this program as a basic business principle, such as a Safety Program, we increase the use of diverse firms across the board.
