
Daphne Lundi
Daphne Lundi is an urban planner, climate policy expert, and artist exploring the intersections of sustainability, design, and community resilience. She is an independent consultant at Mesina Studio, where she advises municipalities, nonprofits, and universities on climate adaptation strategies. Previously, Daphne served as Deputy Director at the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice, leading a team focused on shaping climate policies on extreme heat mitigation, open space access, and transportation sustainability. Beyond policy, her work extends into the arts, exploring the role of craft in storytelling about the built environment and the use of arts-based strategies to process the impacts of climate change. She was an inaugural Public Scholar at the Moynihan Center at The City College of New York, where she developed an undergraduate course examining the intersections of science fiction and city planning. She was also a Year 8 member of NEW INC and a Bandung Resident at MoCADA and A4.
