Daniel Piselli is the Director of Sustainability and a Principal at FXCollaborative, a New York City-based architecture, interiors, and planning design firm. He has over 20 years of experience as an architect and has led design teams on educational, cultural, residential and infrastructure projects, most recently on the Statue of Liberty Museum. Dan now directs FXC’s sustainability efforts, working with each project team to design healthier buildings that are better stewards of the environment. Dan has extensive experience in sustainable design including many LEED projects, Passive House efforts, and Bird-Safe buildings. He co-authored a research study entitled “Feasibility Study to Implement the Passive House Standard on Tall Residential Buildings”, and recently lead a redesign of New York City school standards to drastically reduce energy use. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Kentucky.
