Mrs. Fernandez-Williams is a Program/Construction Project Management professional with over a decade of experience gained during major infrastructure repair and mass transportation improvement work throughout the New York metropolitan area. Her project portfolio includes the multibillion-dollar redevelopment of John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport (T1 and T4); the addition of a third track for the Long Island Railroad (LIRR); and extensive storm repair and resiliency work stemming from the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy. While serving as an agency liaison, Mrs. Fernandez-Williams has worked in close collaboration with local and community leaders; assisted senior project leadership to promptly address any questions or concerns; and coordinated infrastructure work plans and activities with numerous towns, counties, and city and state agencies, including the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the NYCDDC, New York City Department of Buildings (NYCDOB), New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP), NYC Health & Hospitals (NYHHC), New York Power Authority (NYPA), and the New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT).
