Carolyn Gallagher
Carolyn Gallagher joined Suffolk at the beginning of 2022 as Vice President, Preconstruction, bringing more than two decades of industry experience to the firm’s quickly growing New York practice. In her new position, she leads Suffolk NY’s preconstruction team, and also works with Business Development, Pursuit Management, and Operations to bid on and bring in projects.
Prior to joining Suffolk, Carolyn held senior roles at a variety of other firms as a chief estimator, project engineer, and at the onset of her career as a structural engineer. She was part of the project management team on the iconic World Trade Center Transportation HUB. Other high-profile projects in which she was involved over the course of her career include the refurbishment of Madison Square Garden, World Trade Center Tower Two, and the Brooklyn Nets Arena.
Carolyn moved to New York almost two decades ago from the UK, where she entered the construction industry as a structural engineer after receiving a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
