Brittny Ellington

Founder, CEO, The Daughter House Project, LLC
Brittny Ellington is the Founding Executive Director of The Crow HEAL Project, Inc. (TCHP). TCHP is an arts-driven NYC-based nonprofit organization, missioned to increase public awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and promote trauma-informed approaches across NYC's healthcare system. Brittny is a survivor of ACEs in high doses. She believes that NYC is far behind in the trauma-informed space, so The Crow HEAL Project was born to bridge that gap. Brittny is also the Founder and CEO of The Daughter House Project, a single-mom initiative missioned to empower BIPOC single-mom real estate developers to lead the construction of mixed-use affordable housing and healthcare facilities with trauma-informed design. She is on a mission to break barriers in her community in Crown Heights, Brooklyn to meet New Yorkers where they are to bring awareness, prevention, and action using trauma-informed principles to reduce ACEs and MAKE AMERICA TRAUMA-INFORMED. She holds a BS in Health Information Management from the CUNY School of Professional Studies and an MBA in Healthcare from Florida International University (FIU), Chapman Graduate School of Business.
